It is a sequal to the first book in the Sikh series by Kamla kapur.
The story provides depth to the story of Guru Nanak as well, the story is being written as narration by buddha.
Their are many different characters which are involved in the story like mata sulakhni, bebe nanaki, and other two sons of Guru Nanak who are jealous of their brother.
The book is written in such a wonderful manner with simple and lucid language, also the book provides the important teachings of Guru Nanak and Guru Angad.
The book is written with proper research and also keeps the public sentiments in the mind, though it is second book in the series and I haven’t read the first one yet but I didn’t found any trouble or discomfort reading this book but it made me curious to read the first book as well.
The cover of the book is heart touching and really beautiful.
The language is so poetic and edited so well that you can keep on reading without any hassle, it is a kind of book which requires patience but also provides the pleasure of reading in it.
A perfect amalgamation of history and teachings of Guru Nanak and Guru Angad beautifully written in the form of a novel.
